As I was surfing the net yesterday looking for the
Orange Crocodile Hermes Birkin Bag (for a post not for purchase;), I came across a short film sponsored by Hermes and directed by one of my favorite photographers and video directors, Floria Sigismondi. Apparently Hermes holds the same appreciation for her incredible talent;) Floria's work is incredibly diverse in respect to her clients however it is always sure to be hyper surreal and feel a bit vintage. I love her ability to create painterly images using video in tandem with lighting and graphics, her compositions are truly breathtaking. Floria engages all of one's senses with her work, it transports you to another place and time. Her work is often a bit dark, frequently subversive and always provocative. Welcome to the wonderful world of Floria....
