Monday Mood Board

{PEACE Holiday Hemp Pillow from NestaHome's shop on etsy.com}

These pillows are hand stamped with antique text printing blocks using water based inks onto a light tan colored 50% hemp/50% cotton fabric. This soft, medium weight hemp blend fabric has the look of linen and is a sustainable fiber that is eco-friendly.

Thanks to Pewter and Sage for hosting this month's Mood Board Monday.  I chose the PEACE Holiday Hemp Pillow as my inspiration.  The intention was to create a natural, neutral, unpretentious backdrop with pops of black to add depth and contrast.  As with all DOXA projects, this space celebrates our barefoot approach to luxury as our clients are well traveled, design driven while remaining grounded in classic sensibilities.

Sorry I was unable to place the inspiration pillow into the mood board as Polyvore does not accept images from Etsy?

I hope you enjoy;)

Crazy for your mood board choices. That's my kind of room. It could be the mood of our economy influencing me, but I went for a more subdued Christmas decorating this yr. Your choices (especially the great pillow)are perfect for that feel. It's all about making wise choices to stand the test of time. Hope your weekend was a great one & thanks for your comment on my blog. Very, very appreciated! Have a great new week x

Very nice. Love all the black and white with bits of pale wood and the mood you've created. The table on casters is especially great. That and the leather wing chair can move into my house right now!

Hey, Jaime!!! Welcome to MBM:) I'm so glad you came, you have such a fabulous style to add to the mix. (And thanks for becoming a follower too, I'm honored!) This is such a great room. There are so many amazing pieces in here. Sometimes I forget to include all the functional things in mine because I get so excited finding all the little accessories, but you really nailed both form and function. I'm loving that chandelier, rug and the Spanish chest. Gray is one of my new fave colors, so I'll take that Zonda chair anyday. And those vintage numbers, totally unexpected. Love!!! Thanks again so much for participating. I'm going to go check out the rest of your blog now:)

Classic and beautiful. It's obvious you spent a lot of time pulling together just the right things. Although I like a bit more color, I definitely find this room so classy and sophisticated.

My fave item? Love those ottomans! Haven't seen anything like those and I love the slouchy, casual feeling.

Jaime,

Love all your choices. I've used several of them in projects. I know pulling all that together took a lot of time but I know was so fun. I'll email soon. I've been swamped. Hope all is well. Love your blog.
